Black History Month - February
Every February, we proudly commemorate Black History Month, a moment to honor the legacies, struggles, and triumphs of people of African descent. Through educational forums, art exhibitions, storytelling, and cultural showcases, we celebrate our identity while inspiring younger generations to carry forward the torch of resilience, leadership, and excellence.
Canada Day Celebration - July 1st
On Juy 1st every year, we joint the rest of the rest of the nation in celebrating the values of freedom, diversity, and inclusion that define our our beautiful Country. This event embodies a powerful blend of patriotism and multicultural unity, featuring cultural performances, flag parades, and shared meals that bridge our Canadian identity with our North West roots.
Annual BBQ Party - August
Our Annual BBQ Party in August is a signature social event — a lively outdoor gathering where families, friends, and newcomers connect over food, music, and games. It’s a time for laughter, relaxation, and the strengthening of community bonds in an atmosphere of warmth and togetherness.
Shelter Outreach - August
We strongly believe in the spirit of giving back to our community. In our modest capacity, we have pledged an annual commitment to supporting local shelters. At present, our focus lies in providing essential groceries to those in need. With optimism and determination, we envision expanding our impact in the coming years, extending our reach to deliver greater relief and meaningful change within our community—one act of kindness at a time.
We conclude each year with our highly anticipated Christmas Party — a radiant celebration of gratitude, generosity, and togetherness. This festive occasion brings our community together in an atmosphere of warmth and reflection, where laughter and shared memories fill the air. The evening features soulful carols, the delightful aromas of traditional dishes, and the cherished tradition of exchanging gifts.
